Raleigh Weaver
Raleigh has been accepted to Davis & Elkins in West Virginia.  She is in the process of registering with the NCAA to be a  division 2 eligible athlete, and the official signing will happen next Tuesday, April 26. 

Luke McGonagle

Butte Falls has fielded around 10 wrestlers in each of the past two seasons under head coach Jim Mannenbach, and senior Luke McGonagle was able to break through this time around to become the school’s first state qualifier in the Class 2A/1A tournament.McGonagle then went out and kept making history on the big stage, bouncing back from a first-round loss at 195 to score the program’s first points with a consolation pin in 3:42 of Culver’s Cole Little.
Although McGonagle’s hopes at finishing as a state placer (Only the top 4 placers receive medals, but McGonagle earned a tie for 5th place in state.) 

Jordy Gorman

Jordy is a Delegate of the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Lowell, MA on June 29th - July 1st, 2016. The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM). The purpose of this event is to honor, inspire, motivate and direct the top students in the country who aspire to be scientists and technologists, to stay true to their dream and, after the event, to provide a path, plan and resources to help them reach their goal.  Jordy was nominated by the winner of the first Google Science Fair, Shree Bose - Academic Director of the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists - to represent Butte Falls Charter School based on his academic achievement, leadership potential and passion for science and technology.
