Hello Butte Falls family,
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in our area Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon. Snow levels will start at or just above 5000 ft Wednesday, lowering to around 2500 ft by Wednesday night. Heaviest snowfall rates are expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning. When winds switch to the west Thursday, snow and wind could combine to create low visibility conditions.
We will monitor the weather early Thursday morning and are prepared to implement our Inclement Weather plans if necessary.
